Avoid

Should be avoided in patients with a history of peptic ulcers, as the use of ASA can cause or exacerbate gastric and duodenal ulcers. Should be used in caution in older people when used for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease and colorectal cancer, as there is limited evidence to suggest that the benefits of it’s use in healthy older people outweighs the risk of major hemorrhage and bleeding events.
